Wulong 武隆 (Wǔlóng)

Wulong is one of the most spectacular karst areas within reach of Chongqing. Its limestone landscape includes enormous natural bridges, sinkholes, caves and narrow gorges.

Three Natural Bridges

The best-known attraction is Three Natural Bridges 天生三桥 (Tiānshēng Sānqiáo), where huge stone arches span a deep valley. Paths descend into the gorge beneath the bridges, creating a strong sense of scale.

Wulong works as a long day trip from Chongqing by high-speed rail combined with local road transport, though an overnight stay allows a more relaxed visit.
